Regular Season Round 8: Truenos - Liceo PN 68-83

No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Liceo PN (7-0) beat 3rd ranked Truenos (3-4) in Talca 83-68 on Saturday. Liceo PN looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by the former international center Sebastian Silva (187-1996) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Jose Fuentes (197-1990) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Liceo PN players scored in double figures. Even 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Nick Morales (187-1985) did not help to save the game for Truenos. Hans Adrian (-2001) added 14 points for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Liceo PN have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. Loser Truenos keep the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Municipal C.. Liceo PN will meet at home league's second-placed Colo Colo in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Truenos will have a break next round.
