Larranaga edged O.Mundial in Montevideo 76-73. Strangely O.Mundial outrebounded Larranaga 44-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward DJ Foreman (203-1994, college: St.Louis) who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Maximiliano Nobile (181-1997) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Panamanian-American point guard Trevor Gaskins (188-1989, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pro Sports) who recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds and Brazilian center Pedro Ianguas (210-1998) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. O.Mundial will play next round against Miramar trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo - Miramar. Larranaga will try to continue on its current victory against Urunday. It will be extra interesting game as Urunday is their local rival from Montevideo.
