Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago: Boston College (#6) and Brisas (#7). Brisas were smashed at home by 17 points 59-76 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Boston College forced 21 Brisas turnovers. Strangely Brisas outrebounded Boston College 46-32 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Yves Orelus orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Cristobal Ordonez (195-2004) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Boston College's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Miguel Granados replied with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Brisas. Four Brisas players scored in double figures. Boston College maintains sixth position with 4-8 record. Brisas lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with ten games lost. They share the position with Aleman.
