Very significant was Panteras' (#2, 3-1) victory against 4th ranked Sivar (2-3) 67-32. Panteras held Sivar to an opponent 18.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Panteras forced 24 Sivar turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Abigail Abarca had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Heimy Lopez (167-2004) chipped in 20 points during the contest.
