BSNF top team - Atenienses (6-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Pollitas (3-4) in Isabela 87-69. Atenienses looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import power forward Rebecca Tobin (195-1988, college: Arizona St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four Atenienses players scored in double figures. American guard Ariana Moorer (172-1991, college: Virginia) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-1990, college: Portland) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Pollitas. Pollitas' coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Atenienses maintains first position with 6-1 record. Pollitas at the other side keep the sixth place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
