Regular Season Round 8: Moca - Morovis 65-67

The most exciting game of round 8 in the BSNF took place in Moca. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-ranked Moca (5-3) to seventh ranked Montaneras (2-7) 67-65 on Wednesday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Pamela Rosado (165-1986) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals and American center Shelby Cheslek (196-1992, college: Gonzaga) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Montaneras' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. International point guard Jennifer ONeill (165-1990, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) responded with 21 points and American forward Alexis Jennings (190-1996, college: S.Carolina) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Montaneras maintains seventh position with 2-7 record. Defending champion Moca dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. Montaneras are looking forward to face higher ranked Cangrejeras (#3) in Santurce in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Moca will have a break next round.
