Aguada made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 D.Sporting turnovers and outrebounded them 44-27 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Josefina Zeballos (173-2003) nailed 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and Argentinian Jacqueline Soto accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Aguada players scored in double figures. Guard Natasha Dolinsky (173-1997, college: Lincoln, MO) came up with 13 points and forward Pierina Rossi (171-2004) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for D.Sporting in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
