Very important is a road loss of second ranked Santos (10-8) against fourth ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (11-7) on Monday night. Visiting Santos were defeated by Halcones UV Xalapa in Xalapa 95-80. Halcones UV Xalapa looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Justin Keenan (202-1989, college: Ferris St.) who scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (202-1989, college: Texas St., agency: 011 Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Four Halcones UV Xalapa players scored in double figures. International point guard Omar De Haro (188-1995) produced 21 points and American-Puerto Rican power forward Timajh Parker-Rivera (202-1994, college: Towson) added 10 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Halcones UV Xalapa maintains fourth position with 11-7 record. Loser Santos dropped to the third place with eight games lost. Halcones UV Xalapa will meet league's leader Fuerza Regia in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
