Finals Game 3: Urunday - Olimpia 81-72

Urunday edged Olimpia to be crowned Metro 2023 champions. Strangely Olimpia outrebounded Urunday 36-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by Olimpia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Demian Alvarez (193-1984, agency: Pro Sports) who scored 22 points. American swingman Anthony Hilliard (195-1986, college: ECSU) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Four Urunday players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Ricardo Glenn (203-1990, college: USC Upstate, agency: Interperformances) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the other American import forward Al Thornton (203-1983, college: FSU, agency: BIG) added 29 points and 7 rebounds respectively.
