Finals Game 3: Manati - Carolina 83-90

Gigantes shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Jill Townsend (180-1998, college: Gonzaga) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import guard Selena Lott (180-1999, college: Marquette) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) who recorded 14 points and 6 assists and the former international point guard Kaela Hilaire (157-1998, college: Stony Brook) added 15 points and 7 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
