An interesting game forPanteras (9-2) which hosted in 4th ranked Santa Tecla Elite (6-5). Second ranked Panteras managed to get a 12-point victory 70-58 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santa Tecla Elite. Panteras dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Santa Tecla Elite 's 36. Center Leslie Sermeno (176-1997) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Gladis Maravilla (185-1985) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. Forward Silvia Perez (158-2002) responded with 21 points and 6 assists and point guard Karla Candelas (172-1988) scored 6 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panteras maintains second position with 9-2 record behind leader Santa Tecla F1. Santa Tecla Elite at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost.
