Very expected game when 12th rankedL.Borges (1-4) lost to third ranked Aguada (4-1) in Montevideo 86-94 on Monday. Aguada looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) nailed 36 points (!!!) (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Federico Pereiras (190-1994) accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Aguada players scored in double figures. Aguada's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Justin Moss (201-1993, college: Buffalo) came up with 19 points and 6 rebounds and Fernando Verrone (201-1988) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for L.Borges in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Aguada . They moved-up to second place. L.Borges lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with four games lost. They share it with Goes.
