Regular Season Round 5: CPN - Moca Superior 66-75

The biggest surprise of round 5 was guest Moca Superior's (#3) road victory over CPN (#4) 75-66 on Wednesday evening. The best player for the winners was guard Derekjeter Mejia (182-2001) who scored 20 points and 5 assists. Luiyi Rojas chipped in 20 points. Power forward Leonacis Pena (201-2002) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and guard Milosevic Rivera (193-1996) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Moca Superior maintains third place with 6-1 record having five points less than leader Immortals. CPN at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. Moca Superior are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Fenix (#8) in Santiago in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. CPN's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Santiago to the arena Mambas.
