Important game to mention about took place in Paraiba. Sixth rankedUNIFACISA (12-6) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd ranked Vivo/Franca (14-4) 101-98 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Vivo/Franca. UniFacisa shot the lights out from three nailing 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Panamanian-American point guard Trevor Gaskins (188-1989, college: La Tech, agency: Pro Sports) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and Argentinian-Italian point guard Facundo Corvalan (190-1998) who added 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was international center Lucas Silva (208-1995) with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Venezuelan point guard Heissler Guillent (186-1986) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Vivo/Franca's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. UNIFACISA have a solid three-game winning streak. UniFacisa maintains sixth position with 12-6 record. Sesi Franca at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost.
