Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Guatemala:Halcones (#1) and PSN (#2). PSN was defeated at home 62-72 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-1990) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Salvadorean guard Ricardo Amaya (191-1984) contributed with 6 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Forward Alejandro De Leon (-2003) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Harold Menzel (185-2004) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for PSN. PSN's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Halcones (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. PSN at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with USAC.
