An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in San Salvador. Top-rankedSalvadorenos faced 4th ranked Cojute . Host Salvadorenos (4-0) smashed guests from Cojutepeque (1-2) 89-61 . Salvadorenos forced 26 Cojute turnovers and outrebounded them 46-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. Salvadorenos looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Cojute 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Brayan Garcia (194-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists and Emanuel Rodriguez who added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Salvadorenos' coach Sergio Rouco felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Troidell Carter (206-1991, college: Slippery Rock) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Aldahir Avalos scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Salvadorenos have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with San Salvador. Loser Cojute dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. They share the position with Santa Ana and Fantasmas.
