There was a minor upset in San Vicente where 6th rankedA.Lobos (2-4) were edged by ninth ranked Fantasmas (2-3) 71-69 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Darius Daniels (178-1997) who scored 40 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. The other American import Nick Moore (198-1991, college: Alliance) chipped in 8 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Venezuelan-Colombian center Michael Hinestroza (210-1990, college: UALR) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 23 rebounds and American forward Sean Scott (190-1997, college: Pfeiffer) added 24 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Fantasmas moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Brujos. Loser A.Lobos dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Cojute.
