Not a big story in a game in Managua where 16th rankedBonanza (4-11) was rolled over by second ranked Tipitapa (13-1) 101-70 on Saturday. Tipitapa dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Bonanza 's 40. Tipitapa forced 30 Bonanza turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Bonanza 's players. The best player for the winners was Lesly Serrano (-2005) who scored 21 points, 5 assists and 7 steals. Alejandro Urbina chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Tipitapa players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Richard Mairena who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jairo Pineda (-2001) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tipitapa used an opportunity after Brumas lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Bonanza lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Hurricane.
