TBN top team -Brumas (13-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Bonanza (4-11) in Jinotega 107-56 . Brumas dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Bonanza 's 34. Brumas forced 21 Bonanza turnovers and outrebounded them 39-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Brumas players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Bonanza 's players. The winners were led by the former international Dalton Cacho (200-1993) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists and the former international Juan Herrera (187-1996) supported him with 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Brumas players scored in double figures. Even 7 points and 6 rebounds by guard Jairo Pineda (-2001) did not help to save the game for Bonanza . William Talavera added 10 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brumas have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record, which they share with Tipitapa. Bonanza lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Hurricane.
