Regular Season Round 13: Ituano - Blumenau 79-71

Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Blumenau (8-9) lost on the road to third ranked Ituano (13-3) 79-71 on Tuesday. Ituano made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Power forward Gabriela De Paula (180-1996) nailed 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and the former international swingman Leila Zabani (181-1991) accounted for 21 points. Argentinian point guard Melisa Gretter (166-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Sil Gustavo (181-1982) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Blumenau in the defeat. Four Blumenau players scored in double figures. Ituano moved-up to second place. Loser Blumenau keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Ituano will meet bottom-ranked Catanduva (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
