The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd placedHalcones ' (8-5) home loss to second ranked Adelitas (11-2) 79-93 on Thursday. Adelitas' coach Maikel Lopez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American-Hungarian guard Yvonne Turner (179-1987, college: Nebraska) responded with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and American-U.S. Virgin Islands swingman Imani Tate (175-1995, college: Albany) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Four Halcones players scored in double figures. Adelitas have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Halcones lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with five games lost.
