A very close game took place in San Francisco betweenCaneros and Indios . Fifth ranked Caneros (5-3) got a very close victory on the road over second-best Indios (5-4). Caneros managed to escape with a 1-point win 88-87 on Tuesday evening. It was a key game for the second position in the league. American guard Thomas Cooper (196-1992, college: Calgary) notched 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Brazilian Lucas Caue (206-1998) supported him with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Caneros players scored in double figures. Even 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by American forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) did not help to save the game for Indios . Luismal Ferreiras (200-2003, agency: BMS Sport Agency) added 17 points and 18 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Caneros have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Marineros. Indios at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost.
