No shocking result in a game in Puerto Plata where second rankedReales (9-3) defeated 4th ranked Marineros (6-6) 90-80 on Friday. It was a great shooting night for Reales especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Quade Green (183-1998, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and the other American import guard Nahziah Carter (198-1999, college: Washington, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who added 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Swingman Jonatan Bello (195-2001, agency: BMS Sport Agency) responded with 17 points and American guard Isaac Hamilton (196-1994, college: UCLA) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Marineros players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Loser Marineros dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. They share the position with Indios.
