Everything could happen in Jinotega at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth rankedBrumas and 6th ranked Tigres had identical 2-2 record. This time Brumas used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Corinto 107-79 . Brumas dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Tigres ' 50. They outrebounded Tigres 39-28 including 28 on the offensive glass. Brumas players were unselfish on offense dishing 39 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Tigres ' players. The former international Dalton Cacho (200-1993) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and American Glenn Sanabria (180-1996, college: SFC) chipped in 24 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Brumas players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican guard Ezequiel Colon (187-1999, college: Lehman) responded with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Jarret Branch (203-1997, college: Simpson, CA) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brumas maintains fifth place with 3-2 record. Tigres at the other side keep the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with UNI Basket.
