Sixteenth-rankedAbejas (1-10) made lots of trouble for eighth ranked Dorados (8-6) in Guanajuato on Thursday. The visitors from Chihuahua managed to secure only two-point victory 88-86 . However their fans expected much easier game. Dorados made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Swedish guard Elijah Clarance (194-1998, college: Illinois St.) fired 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Alahjan Banks produced 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and American swingman Will Yoakum (196-1998, college: Nova SE) added 23 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Five Dorados and four Abejas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Dorados moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Abejas at the other side stay at the bottom position with ten games lost.
