Liga Mayor top team -San Salvador (13-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Ahuachapan (1-12) 99-73 . San Salvador outrebounded Ahuachapan 37-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. San Salvador players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of Cuban Anisleidys Galindo (181-1989) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and Elisa Dominguez (165-2000) who added 21 points during the contest. Coach Rainel Panfet's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Cuban guard Elianis Armenteros (175-2000) with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Cuban point guard Dairis Tornell (176-1992) scored 17 points and 5 assists. San Salvador have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Despite that victory San Salvador went down to second position due to points difference. Ahuachapan lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost.
