The game in Isabela supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth rankedGigantes (4-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Pollitas (3-4). Gigantes smashed Pollitas 76-55 on Tuesday. Carolina dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Pollitas 's 22. Carolina outrebounded Isabela 46-29 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Carolina looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Teana Muldrow (188-1995, college: WVU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international point guard Charity Harris (163-1991, college: Bluefield St.) who added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American forward DeAnna Wilson (188, college: Illinois St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Anastasia Warren (173, college: Stony Brook) scored 10 points and 9 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gigantes have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 4-2 record. Loser Pollitas keeps the fifth place with four games lost.
