No shocking result in a game in San German where third rankedMontaneras (6-3) defeated 7th ranked Athleticas (2-5) 85-69 on Tuesday. Morovis looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Ruth Sherrill (188-1994, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international point guard Pamela Rosado (165-1986) who added 17 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Five Montaneras players scored in double figures. American forward Akilah Bethel (183-1993, college: LSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and her fellow American import guard Daisha Bradford (173-2000, college: ULM) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Athleticas' coach tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Montaneras have a solid three-game winning streak. Morovis keep a position of league leader. San German lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Lares.
