No shocking result in a game in Managua where third rankedJaguares (18-5) smashed 8th ranked Indigenas (3-21) 121-62 on Saturday. Jaguares dominated down low during the game scoring 94 of its points in the paint compared to Indigenas ' 26. Jaguares forced 21 Indigenas turnovers and outrebounded them 61-35 including a 40-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Jaguares looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Indigenas ' players. International forward Josmel Martinez (198-1999, college: Broward CC, agency: BMS Sport Agency) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American power forward Jeff Allen (201-1987, college: Virginia Tech, agency: BMS Sport Agency) chipped in a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Jaguares players scored in double figures. American guard Dean Tylan (185-1999, college: Rogers St.) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Chris Moten-Jackson (190-1989, college: LA Pierce JC) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jaguares moved-up to second place, which they share with Brumas. Indigenas lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 21 games lost.
