Very important is a home loss of third ranked BolivianCAN Potosi (0-2) against fifth ranked Argentinian Obras (1-2) on Friday night. Host CAN Potosi was crushed by Obras in Potosi 100-68 . The game without a history. Obras led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Obras outrebounded CAN Potosi 38-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Obras players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by CAN Potosi 's players. Chilean point guard Felipe Inyaco (192-2002) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. American forward Chris Clarke (196-1996, college: Texas Tech, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American AJ Cheeseman (202-1998, college: UMES) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Nicolas Paletta (179-1987) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for CAN Potosi. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Obras left bottom position moving up to third place. Defending Bolivian champion CAN Potosi still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with San Jose.
