Regular Season Round 6: LDC Ignite - Santiago Basket 65-60

There was a minor upset when their close opponent Santiago Basket (5-7) was defeated on the road by third ranked LDC Ignite (5-7) 65-60 on Friday. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was guard Khalil OBannon (190, college: Yavapai CC) who scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Guard DAngelo Elliott (196, college: Temple JC) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jalen Crowder (196, college: Lees-McRae) who recorded 20 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Christian Colston (183-1995, college: Concordia, TX) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Five LDC Ignite and four Santiago Basket players scored in double figures. LDC Ignite have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Santiago Basket. LDC Ignite will meet at home league's leader Immortals in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Santiago Basket will have a break next round.
