Regular Season Round 3: Instituto - Montmartre 59-50

There was no surprise in Cordoba where Montmartre (0-4) was defeated by Instituto (2-1) 59-50. Instituto outrebounded Montmartre 56-39 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Uruguayan guard Joaquina Gregorio (168-2001) who led her team to a victory with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Maria Sagardoy contributed with 6 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. Maitena Merino answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Aldana Duarte (162-1996) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Montmartre. Instituto will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Montmartre will play at home against Olimpico (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
