Minas - Libertadores 98-78

Minas had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Alexey Borges (185-1995) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Shaquille Johnson (191-1990, college: Marshall) contributed with 18 points and 7 assists for the winners. Cuban-Puerto Rican center Ismael Romero (205-1991, agency: BeoBasket) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and guard Jorge Gutierrez (191-1988, college: California) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Libertadores. Five Libertadores players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
