The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-17. But Flamengo won second period 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vivo/Franca had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Georginho de Paula (197-1996) stepped up and scored 16 points and 5 assists for the winners and power forward Lucas Mariano (208-1993) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side guard Gui Pereira (192-1991) responded with 25 points and 6 steals and Argentinian Martin Cuello (193-1993) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Flamengo's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

The game was mostly controlled by Minas. Quimsa managed to win third quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Alexey Borges (185-1995) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists. Argentinian-Italian point guard Lucas Faggiano (188-1989, college: LIU Brooklyn) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Minas players scored in double figures. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven) answered with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Fabian Ramirez (200-1990) added 19 points in the effort for Quimsa.
