There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in BCL Americas. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

First defeat of league's leader Brazilian Sao Paulo (0-1) against top-ranked Argentinian Quimsa (1-0) 112-65 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Quimsa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Sao Paulo's 28 and made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Sao Paulo 47-26 including a 38-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Quimsa looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Sao Paulo's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American Brandon Robinson (196-1989, college: Clayton St.) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds. Bruno Sansimoni (194-1996) contributed with 12 points and 9 assists for the winners. Quimsa's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Tyrone Curnell (203-1988, college: Valdosta St.) replied with 16 points for Sao Paulo. Defending Argentinian champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Real Esteli. Sao Paulo at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Halc.Xalapa. They were replaced at the leadership position by Sesi Franca. Sao Paulo will play next round against strong Nacional trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Quimsa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Nicaraguan Real Esteli as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Real Esteli defeated top-ranked Mexican Halcones UV Xalapa at home 80-70. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Emmitt Williams (198-1998, college: LSU, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Tu Holloway who added 19 points during the contest. At the losing side Venezuelan point guard David Cubillan (181-1987, college: Marquette) responded with 17 points. Halcones UV Xalapa's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Quimsa. Halc.Xalapa at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Sao Paulo. Halc.Xalapa will play next round against strong Gladiadores trying to get back on the winning streak. Real Esteli will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
