Cameroonian Rodrigue Andela (203-F-1999) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Obras Basket Buenos Aires and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 24-year old forward had the game-high 19 points adding nine rebounds for Obras in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Sesi Franca (#1, 5-1) 97-96. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Obras maintains the 2nd position in Basketball Champions League Americas . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Obras will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. Andela turned to be Obras' top player in his first season with the team.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young center Lucas Silva (208-C-1995) of league's best team Sesi Franca Basquete Sao Paulo. Silva impressed basketball fans with 33 points and 9 rebounds. Bad luck as Vivo/Franca was edged by slightly lower-ranked Obras (#2, 3-2) 97-96. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Sesi Franca still maintains its place as the top team in the standings, even despite this loss. It was just his team's 1st loss this season, while they won 5 other games. Silva is one of the most experienced players at Sesi Franca and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.5ppg (#1). He also registered 10.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Anthony Perez (205-F-1993) of Gladiadores de Anzoategui (#3). Perez scored 15 points. Despite Perez's great performance the Gladiadores lost 87-91 to #1 ranked Halc.Xalapa. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Gladiadores not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Perez could try to bring Gladiadores' a little bit higher in the standings. Perez has a very solid season. In 2 games in Basketball Champions League Americas he scored 12.0ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Charles Hinkle (198-G-1988) of Sesi Franca - 12 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
