Sesi Franca outrebounded Concepcion 48-29 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sesi Franca looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for Venezuelan point guard Heissler Guillent (186-1986) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Marcio Santos (204-2002) contributed with 7 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American forward Derrick Woods (203-1996, college: St.Peter's, agency: SLN) answered with 23 points and 9 rebounds for Concepcion. Sesi Franca maintains first place with 5-1 record. It was a great evening for Cuban-Puerto Rican center Ismael Romero (205-1991) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Tu Holloway helped adding 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). The best for the losing side was Puerto Rican guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991, agency: Interperformances) with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Real Esteli keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Obras and Halc.Xalapa. Gladiadores lost third consecutive game. Defending Venezuelan champion keep the third place with four games lost.
