Gabriel Galvanini (202-1998) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Kayo Goncalves (203-1999, college: USA) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Armenian-American guard Andre Spight (191-1995, college: N.Colorado) responded with 25 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and point guard Pedro Barral (187-1994) scored 11 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Hebraica dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Vivo/Franca's 38 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Hebraica looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Vivo/Franca helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American center Franklin Hassell (205-1988, college: ODU) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import swingman Jordan Williams (196-1992, college: N.Texas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. American guard David Jackson (190-1982, college: Penn St.) produced 24 points and center Lucas Silva (208-1995) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Hebraica and five Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures.

American Jordan Mathews (191-1994, college: Gonzaga) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Argentinian forward Franco Giorgetti (203-1992) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
