Club Bigua de Villa Biarritz win 2024/25 season opener of the Basketball Champions League Americas. They edged Quimsa 72-70 in a thriller.
The Uruguayan team grabbed a 23-18 lead at the start and led 7 points at the halftime. Quimsa replied with two narrow wins in the second half, however could not win the game.
Matias Espinosa (186-G-2004) led the way with 16 points and Maique Tavares (211-C-1993) poured in 14. Agustin Perez (192-G-1999) replied with 19 points in a loss and Nicolas Romano (200-G-1987) brought 14.
