Louzada's 24 points give him Player of the Week award

25-year old guard Didi Louzada (195-G-1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 24 points adding five rebounds for Sesi/Franca in his team's victory, helping them to beat Instituto (#3, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 81-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Vivo/Franca to take over top position in the Basketball Champions League Americas. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Sesi/Franca won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Louzada had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Vivo/Franca's top player in his first season with the team. Louzada has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.0ppg. Louzada is in league's top in and averages solid 100.0% FGP and 60.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Georginho de Paula (197-PG-1996). He is a guard in his first season at Sesi/Franca. In the last game de Paula recorded an impressive 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. It was enough for Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo to edge Instituto (0-1) by 5 points 81-76. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. de Paula is a newcomer at Vivo/Franca and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Danilo Fuzaro (193-G-1994) of league's leader Minas Belo Horizonte. Fuzaro scored 17 points and passed 4 assists. He was a key player of Minas, leading his team to a 84-73 win against #3 ranked Quimsa in a game of the week. Minas has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Fuzaro also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Fuzaro has a great season in Basketball Champions League Americas. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.0ppg (7th best) and assists with 3.0apg (9th best).
