Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Leandro Vildoza (180-1994) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Nicola Pomoli contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Instituto's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dominican-American forward Anyeuri Castillo (201-1997, college: USC Aiken) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for Los Leones. Instituto maintains second position with 1-1 record having just three point less than leader Sesi/Franca, which they share with Boca and Bigua.
