Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game of round 12 was a derby match between two teams from Colombia. The game took place in Medellin where third ranked Paisas won against visiting Toros (2-4) 101-87. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 101-87. Paisas made 32-of-39 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Paisas outrebounded Toros 47-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Toros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Glenn Cosey (183-1992, college: EKU) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 4 assists (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!) and Dominican Victor Liz (190-1986) who added 22 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Soren De Luque (200-1998) with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Paisas (3-3) moved-up to second place, which they share with Instituto. Toros Del Valle at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Even 20 points and 5 rebounds by Uruguayan-Italian swingman Nicola Pomoli (195-1999) did not help to save the game for Instituto. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Undefeated Sesi/Franca have an impressive six-game winning streak. Despite that victory Sesi/Franca went down to tenth position due to points difference. Instituto at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Paisas. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The most impressive stats of the last round was 21 points and 8 rebounds by Eric Crawford of Paisas.



Sesi/Franca - Instituto 83-68

The game between Top Four teams took place in Sao Paulo. Top-ranked Brazilian host Vivo/Franca (6-0) defeated second-best Argentinian Instituto (3-3) 83-68.
