The game between Top Four teams took place in Rio de Janeiro. First ranked Brazilian host Flamengo (5-1) smashed 3rd placed Panamanian Toros (0-6) 110-65. Flamengo dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Toros' 28. They outrebounded Toros 46-26 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Flamengo looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American swingman Jordan Williams (196-1992, college: N.Texas) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. Argentinian point guard Franco Balbi (189-1989) helped adding 10 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. The best for the losing side was Roberto Armstrong (182-2000) with 10 points and 5 assists. Toros' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Flamengo maintains first place with 5-1 record. Toros at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Los Leones.

Forward Michael Hicks (196-1976, college: TAMUCC) came up with 18 points for Toros in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boca have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending Argentinian champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Real Esteli. Toros at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Los Leones.
