Best players of Basketball Champions League Americas round 4 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Cristiano Felicio (210-C-1992) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 33-year old center had a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed Instituto (3-1) with 30-point margin 110-80. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Vivo/Franca to jump to the first place in the Basketball Champions League Americas. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Sesi/Franca has a very solid 3-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Felicio turned to be Vivo/Franca's top player in his first season with the team. University of Oregon graduate has very impressive stats this year. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Guilherme Deodato (192-G-1991) of second-ranked Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. Deodato impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Flamengo to another comfortable win outscoring Obras (#3, 0-4) 102-66. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Flamengo consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 2-2 record is not bad at all. Deodato is one of the most experienced players at Flamengo and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Flamengo's star - Emanuel Fernandes (200-F-2003). Fernandes scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Fernandes' great performance the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo lost 76-95 to #1 ranked Nacional. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Flamengo needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Fernandes has a very solid season. In 3 games in Basketball Champions League Americas he scored 9.0ppg.
