30-year old American guard Daishon Smith (185-G-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Astros de Jalisco and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He got a double-double of 23 points and 11 assists, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Caimanes (#3, 0-6) with 71-point margin 140-69. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Astros to consolidate first place in the Basketball Champions League Americas.
