Latinbasket.com All-BCL Americas Awards 2026- April 21, 2026![]() Connor Zinaich, 28-year old American forward Nacional De Futbol Montevideo from Uruguay, picked up the Player of the Year at the Liga Uruguaya de Basquetbol.
He graduated from the Nova Southeastern six years ago.
Zinaich received multiple other awards, was named the Defensive Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, Forward of the Year, and was voted to the First Team and Imports Team.
He helped Zinaich's team have an undefeated season as Nacional De Futbol Montevideo was not challenged in the league with a perfect 6 to 0 in the regular season.
Zinaich conducted his way to the fifth position in averaging a commendable almost 18 points per game.
He was the Player of the Week honoree twice during the 25 26 campaign.
