Nigel Jones was named the Player of the Year of the championship-winning champion team Belize City Defenders.
He graduated from Talladega ten years ago.
Jones received multiple other awards, was voted the Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, Forward of the Year, and was selected to the First Team, Imports Team and Defensive Team.
With Jones' excellent performance, the champion team Belize City Defenders achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 10 to 2 in the regular season.
His excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Running Rebels 3 to 1 in the final series.
Jones was the Player of the Week honoree twice during the 26 campaign.
He conducted his way to the third position in averaging a commendable over 10 rebounds per game.

Gordon received multiple other awards, was voted to the Imports Team and Defensive Team.
He averaged over 9 rebounds per game in the league.
Gordon led the BEBL in points per game with over 25.
He has totalled 10 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 4 games.
Gordon notched double-doubles in 5 games at the event.
His 43 points against Suns were the most he scored in the 2026 season.

William Jr Stanford, 28-year old American guard from the runner-up team finalist team Orange Walk Running Rebels, was selected to the First Team at the Belize Elite Basketball League.

Stanford collected multiple other honors, was chosen to the Imports Team and Defensive Team.
His best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the Defenders 1 to 3.
Stanford recorded over 15 points and 6 rebounds per game that season in the league.
