Jihad Wright
Guard Jihad Wright (193-G) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team San Pedro T. and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had the game-high 27 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for San Pedro T. in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Belmopan B. (#6, 2-5) 95-91. It allowed San Pedro T. to consolidate first place in the Belizean league. San Pedro T. have a solid 7-1 record. In the team's last game Wright had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at San Pedro T., being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of North Carolina at Pembroke graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wright is in league's top in points (7th best: 16.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.8rpg), assists (3rd best: 4.3apg) and averages solid 2.8spg and 59.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Luther Page (198-F) of Belmopan B.. He is American forward in his first season at Belmopan B.. In the last game Page recorded impressive 27 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Belmopan B. was edged by the higher-ranked San Pedro T. (#1, 7-1) 95-91. This loss caused Belmopan B. to drop to 6th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Belmopan B. managed to get this year. Page is one of the most experienced players at Belmopan B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.2ppg (#3). He also registered 9.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Nigel Jones (200-F-90) of Belize City D. (#3). Jones scored 25 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). Despite Jones' great performance Belize City D. lost 70-74 to #2 ranked Dream Ballers. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Belize City D. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Jones has a great season in Belize. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.4ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 10.0rpg (2nd best). Jones attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
