Running Rebels were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The 27-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat San Pedro T. (#2, 3-2) 79-66. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. International Guard Daniel Conorque (193-G-91) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Dream Ballers, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 4. The 27-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat San Pedro T. (#2, 3-2) 79-66. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Dream Ballers to consolidate first place in the Belizean NEBL. Dream Ballers have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Conorque had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at Dream Ballers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Pima Community College star has very solid stats this year. Conorque is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 8.0rpg) and assists (4th best: 4.4apg).
The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old international guard Devin Daly (195-G-94) of Smart Belize H.. Daly had a very good evening with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Smart Belize H. was edged by slightly higher-ranked Belize City D. (2-2) 76-72. This loss caused Smart Belize H. to drop to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Daly is one of the most experienced players at Smart Belize H. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 6.0rpg and 4.0apg.
Third on the list of top players last round was another Dream Ballers' star - guard Edgar Mitchell (G). Mitchell showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, five rebounds and eleven assists (!!!) in the last round. He was another key player of Dream Ballers, helping his team with a 79-66 easy win against #2 ranked San Pedro T. in a game of the week. Dream Ballers confirms their top position in the standings. Mitchell has a great season in Belize. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.6apg (2nd best).
