Elbasani sign David Thompson

David Thompson

Elbasani (Liga e pare) inked American (has also Belizean passport) 183cm point guard David Thompson (college: CWU) for upcoming season. He is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Nick Paul signed here earlier.
He played most recently at Immortals in LDC league in Dominican Republic. The last summer he played at Claws in U.S. semi-pro league United Cup league where in only one game he had very impressive stats: 23 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. He was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-United Cup Honorable Mention in 2024.
His team won Dominican Republic LDC Lopez Cup in 2023.
He attended Central Washington University until 2022 and it will be his third season in pro basketball. Thompson played for other colleges like: Santa Clara University, Mt. San Jacinto College.
